Yanumoja Yoga Class Schedule
There are 2 classes being offered this summer. They run as follows: Wednesday nights in Kemptville at the Bodhi Tree presently 5:30-6:45. I will also be sharing the teaching of a class in Manotick with Leanne Damas on Thursday evenings 7-8:30.
There are also Wednesday and Saturday morning classes running until mid-June. Please call if you would like to drop-in or join us. 613.826.1969
So what again is Yanumoja Yoga?
In the practice of Yanumoja yoga, we utilize the exploration of themes. In reflecting on various concepts we begin to explore within posture, breath, visualization, stillness and meditation what is true for us in any given moment. This awareness allows us to choose an intent particular to our own needs within the context of yoga practice. While engaging with posture and breath as we explore themes relevant to what is happening within, we sense that harmony and wellbeing can be possible. We bring that awareness from the mat into the day to day, infusing life with balance, energy and vitality. This healing energy permeates into our relationships with others and has a ripple effect upon the world around us.
Thai Massage Schedule
At present, the massage is being offerred out of my home location Wednesday afternoons, Friday mornings and Saturday afternoons. There is flexibility to my hours and some weeks I have space Mondays and Thursdays. I can also offer the massage on Wednesday afternoons just prior to the 5:30 class at the Bodhi Tree. I continue to offer the massage out of Nutriland in Ottawa at their Riverside location Tuesday and or Friday afternoons. My summer time hours will likely be more flexible on weeks when I am available.
So what again is Thai Massage?
Thai Yoga Massage is gentle bodywork that uses passive yoga postures & acupressure to stretch, relax & re-energize you. A thai massage feels like having yoga “done” to you. It is a full body treatment that: releases tension, improves flexibility in muscles & joints, enhances immune system functioning, and balances the body and mind. Each session is tailored to meet the unique needs of the client, so everyone benefits, regardless of flexibility or limitations. Expect to stay fully dressed in stretchy clothes while lying on a mattress on the floor. As with yoga, avoid heavy meals just prior to the massage.
